Fluorescent Lighting is commonplace in offices, stairways, car parks, hospitals, shops, public buildings etc. It is well known for its energy efficiency and reliability; fluorescent lamps being 70-80% more efficient than incandescent bulbs, using less power and lasting longer. Compact fluorescent lamps (2/4 Pin BC/ES) are in constant demand and are readily available and supplied.
Tubed fluorescent lighting may be recessed so that it is flush with the ceiling or surface mounted. Widths of tubes vary from around 75mm (3”) to 100mm (4”), lengths from around 200mm (8”) to 1800mm (6’). Fluorescent Lighting can also be suspended on wires, chain and rods.
Sensors and dimmable control gear can be used in conjunction so that when no movement is detected the light output will minimise thereby saving energy.
Coloured sleeves are also available as required.
